RARE 1973 RAF Escaping Society Cover SIGNED BY OLIVER PHILPOT MC & HARRY (WINGS) DAY OBE. Philpot was one of only 3 successful escapees from STALAG LUFT III, the famous POW Camp from which "THE GREAT ESCAPE" was made. Harry Day was re-captured after the Great Escape & survived the War. Philpot was a CANADIAN RCAF OFFICER & famously "the third man in the WOODEN HORSE escape". Very Fine for an item of this type and period, please see photos to help form your own opinion.
