SENDER NOTES THE PROVISIONAL WARTIME SURCHARGES (SG.200-202) WERE ISSUED AT PERTH ON THIS DAY (5th January 1942). NOTE** Stanley Gibbons gives the First Day of Issue as 10/12/1941 but that was a limited & curtailed issue at Government House. The general issue dates were in January 1942. Slight tones.
