AN UNUSUALLY FINE STRIKE of this VERY RARE Scots Experimental duplex. Clearly dated 27th November 1855. THE FINEST STRIKE WE HAVE SEEN of this tiny duplex notorious for poor strikes. SG.24 1d Penny Stars is very well-centred & superb for this SC14 issue. Irregular shaped piece on contemporary backing paper. Very Fine for an item of this type or period.
