Stamp cancelled *266* numeral of DUNSTABLE (Bedfordshire). Cover endorsed "Per (ship) Indiana" to the ROYAL OBSERVATORY Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope (COGH). An extremely scarce early ASTRONOMY thematic. Stamp alone Cat £1,200 off cover. Unpriced by Stanley Gibbons on cover (Normal SG.54 cat £1,900). Very Fine for an item of this type & period.
